Merger Updates

The Core Transition Team working toward the implementation of the Chamber/EDC merger has requested proposals from community and development consultants to assist in building our new organization based on successful models in other communities. To date, 18 of the 20 consultants have acknowledged receipt of the RFP and expressed interest in submitting a proposal by the deadline date of October 18th. Upon receipt, the team will review and narrow those responses to a short list and select the consultant as soon as possible. Through our guidance and direction, the chosen consultant will assist us in working carefully and swiftly through the merger process commencing in January 2012.
