Munroe Regional Medical Center is a 421-bed full-service hospital, specializing in heart, stroke and women's services. Three of the most critical health status needs in Marion County are diabetes, stroke and heart failure; Munroe has earned certification in all three areas as clinically excelling in the treatment of these diseases.

When it comes to fighting the devastating disease of cancer, The Cancer Center at Ocala Regional Medical Center has earned designation as the only approved cancer hospital in Marion County. The Cancer Center has also secured an academic affiliation with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute to give cancer patients access to the best treatments and research available in their own community. Ocala Regional is fighting the obesity epidemic at its Bariatric Center, which has been named a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence by the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons and is headed by one of the top bariatric surgeons in the country.
 
West Marion Community hospital is Ocala's newest full-service hospital. The 70-bed all private room facility offers a full-service emergency department, as well as Marion County’s only inpatient Joint Care Center. Medical services include traditional surgery, robotic surgery, radiological services and a variety of outpatient services.

The latest in diagnostic breast imaging is offered at Radiology Associates of Ocala through breast MRI.

Our mental health services have expanded with Ten Broeck Ocala moving to the area and the expansion of The Centers inpatient facility.

Ten Broeck Hospital offers an excellent array of services for children, adolescents, adults, or mature adults dealing with Substance Abuse or Psychiatric Illness.  The 95- bed facility specializes in treatments such as Detox, Acute Care, Inpatient,  Residential, Partial Hospitalization and Outpatient Services. 

The Centers continues to serve the underinsured and uninsured populations of both Marion and Citrus counties through major expansions of all children and adult mental health and substance abuse programs.

Hospice of Marion County, Inc. and Its Affiliated Companies employs more than 400 professionals, who provide comfort care for the terminally ill. Its four Hospice Houses are state-of-the-art facilities that offer all private rooms and suites.
