This study was presented at the 2011 EDC Strategic Planning Session. Bill Fruth with POLICOM Corporation compiled historical data and examined economic forecasting indicators to set measurable job creation goals for years 2012-2016 to stimulate economic growth.

The Marion County Commission partnered with the EDC to contract National Site Location Consultant John Rhodes, Moran, Stahl & Boyer to gather economic intelligence on Marion County’s “site readiness,” to produce a Business Park Strategy to further the EDC’s business recruitment and expansion efforts.

The EDC's strategic plan utilizes the POLICOM Corporation's Goal Setting Studies as a benchmark for and development of our job creation goals. Each year POLICOM publishes a performance report to track progress toward those goals.The studies below are posted for your convenience.
